Grammar Sprinkles - The verb to be

Grammar Sprinkles are back!

Today's topic is the verb to be (είμαι).

The verb είμαι is the Greek equivalent to the English verb to be:
  • I am
  • you are
  • he/she/it is
  • we are
  • you are
  • they are
Today's handout includes the verb είμαι in all persons followed by a few examples of its usage in a sentence. You will also find two exercises. In the first one you have to match the personal pronoun with the right form of the verb while in the second one you have to use the correct cubes in the correct order to form a sentence containing the verb είμαι.
