Fruit worksheets

As we have been exploring fruit this week here are a couple of worksheets to accompany your flashcards and dice printables.

In this activity you will find the Greek words for fruit. They are missing the letter α though! Get your child to fill in the missing letter and to try read them out loud. This activity is suitable for younger children who have just started learning the Greek alphabet.  Check out the post on letter α for more activities.

In this activity children can first trace the word for each fruit and then write the whole word themselves. Ideal exercise for children who already know the letters of the Greek alphabet and can write words.

The owl song

This song is very popular with the little ones!

It is about an owl, on an oak tree, going hoot hoot!

As with all the nursery rhymes in the series, you can print it out and laminate if you like.

Sing it along, great fun!

There is also a free printable! A fruit die. Print the template, cut out and glue! Your child will love tossing the fruit die and naming the correct fruit!
