We are back, after the initial back_to_school shock! Students and teacher are settling down now so here is a brand new post!
Letters Monday today and we have a new worksheet for you! As
promised, the letter Γ from the Α to Ω series! Practice
writing the letter and learn words starting with Γ.
This is the third handout of the Α to Ω series, so stay tuned to collect them all!
You
could laminate them and do the activity with whiteboard marker to make this a reusable
activity.

Greek Alphabet Bookmark
This Alphabet Bookmark is a small welcome gift for my younger students this school year, to help them learn the letters faster. They can use it as a bookmark as well as a reference guide to capital and small Greek letters. What do you think?
You can find it in 3 different colours for you (or your students) to choose. Just click on the picture, as always!

Alphabet Flashcards with words
We have been working a lot on letter recognition with the younger of our students lately. It is a lot of fun and sooooo educational. It not only helps them memorise the Greek letters but also works on their memory and image association!
Here is a version of the alphabet flashcards accompanied by the whole word of the image used for each letter. If you are using the flashcards at home with your children (or if you are learning the alphabet yourself!) and you are not familiar with all the words this version will help you. Just click on the image, download the file and print out!

Alphabet Bingo Greek style!
Who doesn't like Bingo?! Lots of fun and excitement! Alphabet Bingo is just the game for a family or friends gathering. Practicing the Greek letters is the added bonus! :)
Play the game by printing out all the letters of the Greek Alphabet found here (uppercase or lowercase for variation) and placing them in a pouch or a box big enough for your hand to fit. You could print them on card paper for added durability. Then print out those Alphabet Bingo Cards, write letters in the boxes making sure you don't put the same combination of letters in two separate cards and that you don't put the same letter twice on a single row and voila! Your Alphabet Bingo Greek style is ready to play!
Get your homemade popcorn and refreshments and enjoy a game or two!
