Children love flashcards! It makes learning new vocabulary fun and they are portable too! This week's flashcards are about feelings.
The children at Greek4Kids classes loved playing with the fruit dice and asking each other the names of the fruits! Here is a feelings dice for added fun!
As we have been exploring fruit this week here are a couple of worksheets to accompany your flashcards and dice printables.
In this activity you will find the Greek words for fruit. They are missing the letter α though! Get your child to fill in the missing letter and to try read them out loud. This activity is suitable for younger children who have just started learning the Greek alphabet. Check out the post on letter α for more activities.
In this activity children can first trace the word for each fruit and then write the whole word themselves. Ideal exercise for children who already know the letters of the Greek alphabet and can write words.
Naming the fruit in Greek is going to be a lot of fun for your little one if you take the game to the fruit market and get your child put the right fruit in the trolley!
There is also a free printable! A fruit die. Print the template, cut out and glue! Your child will love tossing the fruit die and naming the correct fruit!
