Domino Set: Fruit

My students enjoy playing domino! It's a fun way to learn new words so we use it quite often. This is our new set, Fruit Domino.

The set consists of 12 tiles. Each tile has one fruit image and a fruit word. Find the tiles to match them. You can purchase the Fruit Domino Set for 1.99 euro on our website.

Our Town

Saturday today and a perfect opportunity for a town stroll. The girls and I love to walk around our town and explore little corners that we have never seen before. Little shops, narrow roads, interesting buildings and nice, happy people. That's how our town is like! How about yours?

After your walk, use this worksheet to teach your children some types of buildings. Also, why not? You may want to visit  these individually next time. :)

Find Our Town puzzle on our shop. If you opt for the digital copy, you could print this twice, laminate both copies and then cut around the buildings from one of the copies, get some blue tack and start sticking on the other one! The hard copy comes in glossy paper with velcro attached on the buildings. Both reusable and fun!

International Cousins Day!

The 24th of July is the International Cousins Day! Here is a family handout, featuring a very popular family, the Simpsons.

We are creating some exciting material for our interactive board! We have been experimenting with Smartboard Notebook and having a lot of fun making activities for our little students. Here is a beach-themed activity.

In this worksheet you will find a set of pictures. Some of them are beach-related while some of them aren't. Circle the beach words!

It's mid summer and we live very close to the beach! So, when we don't make printables or do lessons, we roam to the sea!

May 1st - Πρωτομαγιά (Free)

Here at Greek4Kids we all had a lovely Easter Holiday. We hope you did too! We are now enjoying spring in full. The sun is shining, the flowers have blossomed and it's warm enough for those long walks in the fields. Are you ready to make your wreath?

Our Solar System

Lately we have been working a lot on classroom decoration and posters that help children expand their vocabulary in Greek.

This week is all about the Solar System. Here is a poster on our solar system, complete with the Sun and all 8 planets. At the bottom of the poster the students may find interesting trivia about our solar system. You could even make a quiz for them!

 It is in A3 paper size. You can purchase a digital copy, print and laminate it for your classroom wall, or you could order a hard copy. You may want to accompany the poster with a worksheet for your students.

Question of the week

One question every week for your students! In our classroom, we draw one correct answer from our answer box every Friday and the winner gets a present from our prize box. Here is a winter related question:
