Αγαπημένοι μας φίλοι,

Στο μάθημά μας αυτήν την εβδομάδα μάθαμε για τον τρόπο ζωής, τις συνήθειες αλλά και τα έθιμα παιδιών που ζουν σε άλλες χώρες.

Σκεφτήκαμε πως υπάρχουν ελληνόφωνα παιδιά σε όλες τις άκρες του κόσμου και πως θα μπορούσαμε να έρθουμε σε επαφή με όλα αυτά τα παιδιά μέσω ενός γράμματος ή ενός email και να μοιραστούμε τα ήθη και τα έθιμα του τόπου στον οποίο μεγαλώνουμε.

Οι συμμαθητές μας κι εμείς (παιδιά όλων των τάξεων του δημοτικού) ψάχνουμε να βρούμε παιδιά σαν κι εμάς που ζουν σε άλλες χώρες και θα ήθελαν να αλληλογραφήσουν μαζί μας στα ελληνικά.

Θα χαρούμε πολύ αν θέλετε κι εσείς να αλληλογραφήσουμε. Στείλτε μας ένα μήνυμα στο facebook ή ένα email στη διεύθυνση penpals@greek4kids.eu για να γνωριστούμε!

Tiny StoryBook

When I started the Creative Writing Club with my students in the beginning of this school year, I didn't expect such creativity! We are now writing these lovely tiny story books and the children are loving it. Choose a theme and let the children explore it by illustrating and writing their unique stories. Available in both Greek and English. Great fun!

Όταν σχεδίαζα τη Λέσχη Δημιουργικής Γραφής για τους μαθητές μου στην αρχή της χρονιάς, δεν περίμενα να δουλέψουμε τόσο δημιουργικά! Αυτόν τον καιρό, οι μικροί μου συγγραφείς γράφουν με πολύ ενθουσιασμό αυτά τα μικρά βιβλιαράκια. Διαλέξτε ένα θέμα και αφήστε τα παιδιά να το προσεγγίσουν εικονογραφώντας και συγγράφοντας τις δικές τους μοναδικές ιστορίες. Διατίθεται στα ελληνικά και στα αγγλικά. Το αποτέλεσμα θα σας αφήσει άφωνους!

Double Consonants Cube

Here is a cube to teach your students the double consonants. Prepare a box with items starting with these double consonants and let them roll the dice! They would then have to pick the right item from the box. Have fun!

Οι μαθητές μου λατρεύουν τα παιχνίδια! Με αυτόν τον κύβο, τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν εύκολα και διασκεδαστικά τα δίψηφα σύμφωνα. Γεμίστε ένα κουτί με μικρά αντικείμενα που αρχίζουν με τα δίψηφα σύμφωνα και αφήστε τα παιδιά να ρίξουν το ζάρι! Ανάλογα με τη "ζαριά" θα πρέπει να διαλέξουν το σωστό αντικείμενο από το κουτί. Καλές ζαριές!

Grammar Sprinkles: Masculine nouns in -ος

Today's handout is a short note on the conjugation of the masculine nouns ending in -ος.

In Greek, nouns are masculine, feminine or neutral. The way they are conjugated depends on their gender as well as their ending. In this first handout, we see the conjugation of the masculine nouns that end in -ος.

The cases represent the different instances of the noun. You may use the noun as a subject (nominative), as a belonging word (possessive), as an object (accusative) or a calling word (vocative). You can find examples of the different instances (cases) of the noun in the handout.
